Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

After a very busy night at work, Paul was surprised to come home and find the house decorated for his birthday.
It's hard to say who enjoyed the birthday celebration more: Paul or Adam. Paul enjoyed his birthday dinner of french toast made from homemade bread. And the chocolate pie was delicious, but Adam loved the balloons and was VERY excited to see 30 flaming candles.

Birthday Party

Adam went to his friend's birthday party today. As part of the celebration, they had a pinata. Adam enjoyed watching the other kids swing at the pinata and contributed a few good swings himself.
Of course, the best part came at the end.

Easter

After we returned home from our trip, we had a second Easter celebration with Daddy. Adam enjoyed the Family Home Evening egg hunt and did a great job retelling the Easter story.
Adam's favorite part of the evening was dyeing the Easter eggs.

Surprises!

Our visit to Idaho began with a great surprise for Grandma and Grandpa. It was even more of a surprise since Kim was already 21 weeks along. Baby Boy Morrison is due to join our family on August 14th!!!

More Airplanes!

After traveling to Utah, Adam was very excited to fly on another airplane to go visit Grandma and Grandpa in Idaho. The flights went well and our delays/layovers were pretty fun due to the wonderful USO (United Service Organizations) in the Denver airport.

Zoo Encounters

We had two rare encounters at the zoo today. On previous zoo trips, we have been disappointed to find the polar bear sound asleep in his den. Today was our lucky day! Not only was the polar bear awake, but he also cooperated to give us a great photo opportunity. Adam's favorite part of the day was viewing an exhibit we've never seen before. He would have been content to skip the animals all together so he could watch this crane work.
