Drawing

Adam's drawing skills have greatly improved. Today he drew a hot air balloon on our dry-erase board.

Bowling

We went bowling for a fun family night. Adam was very excited about his strike!

Dinner

Darren was a bit anxious for his dinner tonight and did not want to wait for Mommy to finish making dinner for everyone else. Mommy gave Darren his bottle to see if he could drink it on his own. To her surprise, he did quite well.

The Climb

Darren successfully climbed the stairs today. To celebrate the moment, Adam decided we needed to take a picture of the two of them sitting at the top of the stairs.

Music Class

After fishing, we headed to a different library for music class. It was a busy day, but we love attending all of the free classes that the libraries offer over the summer. Adam's favorite part is playing the musical instruments. Today he got the jingle bells and did a great job playing the rhythm to the songs.

Fishing

We went to a special storytime at the library today. After reading a few stories, we went down by the lake where the Fish and Game Department taught the kids to fish. Adam had a lot of fun, but was a bit disappointed he didn't catch anything.

Father's Day

Daddy's four years of fatherhood were celebrated with one of his favorite treats - ice cream Snicker bars. And now that he has a son in Primary, he gets to wear a special Father's Day treat - the M&M bow tie.

Water Fun

Adam is always a bit timid when we first get out the sprinkler, but eventually he realizes just how much fun it can be.

This was Darren's first time in a kiddie pool. He was also a bit cautious, but soon discovered the pleasure of splashing in the water.

Accomplishment!

Darren was very excited to pull himself up to the standing position in his crib. The only trouble was that once he was standing, he couldn't get back down. Needless to say, nap time did not go so well. He was so delighted with his new skill that every time Mommy helped him lay down to go to sleep, he would climb back up to his new favorite position.

Adam was very proud of this block airplane he made all by himself.

Flowers

Our flowers are beginning to bloom!

Say Cheese!

Darren now has a four-tooth grin.

Standing!

Darren loves to pull himself up on just about everything. His favorite place to stand is at the stairs.

Diving in the Living Room

The cushions of our couch are more frequently found on the floor than on the couch. Today they were being used to create a swimming pool and the couch was the diving board. Adam was very pleased with his new diving abilities.

Giggles

It doesn't take much for Adam to give Darren the giggles.
