Goodbye Texas, Hello Ohio

We flew back to Wisconsin Friday night. Saturday was quite a crazy day. We unpacked, repacked with warmer clothes and new toys, and left that night for Ohio. We arrived here in Dayton, Ohio on Sunday. Once again, things have really worked out well for us. For the first 4 days, we stayed in the VOQ (Visiting Officer Quarters). The room was really nice, but preparing meals was a bit of a challenge due to the fact that all we had was a microwave, mini fridge, and bathroom sink. When Paul's Pediatric Supervisor learned Kim and Adam were also here, he made some phone calls and arranged for us to be moved to the TLF (Temporary Lodging Facility). What a great surprise!!! Our new home has two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, large living room, and its own washer and dryer! Adam loves exploring every drawer and cabinet and has plenty of room to run and play. And Kim loves having a kitchen again! We still can't believe things have worked out so well for us.
