Answer: Des Plaines, Illinois
2. According to Google how many minutes should it have taken us to get there for lunch?
Answer: 7 minutes
3. Where do Google's directions take you?
Answer: To a small brick home in a nice residential neighborhood on a dead end street.
4. How long did it really take us to get to the McDonalds?
Answer: 1 hour
5. Besides the first McDonald's, what else is Des Plaines known for?
Answer: Lots of diagonal streets each with two names depending which way you're driving
6. What does the McDonald's Museum have inside?
Answer: Good question. We learned that the museum is only open in the summer months. It is also surrounded by a tall iron fence. We were only able to see it from the parking lot across the street.

Sad! This is one of those trips that you will remember forever, though. The trips I remember most when I was growing up were the trips where things didn't got the way they were supposed to!
