Kim was very anxious to plant a few garden vegetables this year since we have our own patio. Due to the move, we were a bit late in getting started. When we tried to buy a tomato plant, we realized the best ones had already been sold. After much searching we settled on this one. It has been a bit of a rough start with the many storms we've had, but the plant has survived the brutal weather and today we picked our first tomato! Yes, it looks a bit out of place on such a tiny plant, but it was sure fun to eat. We hope it is one of many to come, but just in case this is the only one we get, we thought we'd better take a picture now.

Way to go! That is one beautiful tomato, Kim. I love the pictures of Adam on his bike. Caysja has one like it and we love to go for bike rides--when it's not blazing hot outside that is...
Nice!! Fresh tomatoes are the best!
