In addition to walking around the temple grounds, we also enjoyed the Mormon Trail Center and the Pioneer Cemetary.

Flags
We have driven by this site many times, but never knew what it was. It's actually just a large business center. Nevertheless, Adam was fascinated with all of the flags.
The Henry Doorly Zoo
Adam's favorite part was of course the elephants. Kim's favorite part was the "Kingdom of the Night" exhibit (minus the bats). This was the first time we've seen the exhibit. To give you an idea what it's like, we found a picture on the Internet. You feel like you're walking through a cave as you look at all of the different animals.

Cabela's
This was a must see attraction for Kim's brothers. Adam loved it just as much as his uncles. (Okay, maybe not quite as much. After all, he decided to go to the Children's Museum the next day instead of returning to Cabela's).

Adam loved climbing in all of the tent's "tunnels."

Doesn't she look like a pro?
The Children's Museum
Adam was in paradise at the museum. A few of his favorite activities included driving the many different kid-sized vehicles, shopping like a pro at the grocery store, playing with the balls in the science center (especially when they dropped from the ceiling), and going down the slides all by himself.

Notice how Adam is standing just like Aaron, he sure looks up to his Uncles.
I think Aaron and Steven had just as much fun as Adam did, while playing with these giant blocks.
Gondola Boat Ride at Heartland of America Park
This was Adam's first boat ride. He loved waving to everyone on the shore and in the other boats. When it was all over, he couldn't stop talking about the boat ride.
In the background of this picture, you can see the Heartland Fountain. After the boat ride, we stayed until it got dark so we could see the fountain light show.
Miniature Golf
And no family visit is complete without a round of miniature golf.
This was Adam's favorite hole. He loved throwing his ball into the water to watch it float down to the hole below.
The week flew by way too quickly!!! As Adam would say, we can't wait for you to "come play again."
