Despite the rough beginning, our cucumber and tomato plants have been growing very well. We picked our first cucumber today. It was huge and tasted delicious! We anxiously await the chance to eat some fresh tomatoes too. We only hope they grow a bit faster. We have been told winter is expected to come early this year, which means an early frost. We hope the tomatoes come before then.

Wow! Way to go, you guys! That is awesome. I can't wait to have a garden someday. There is nothing like homegrown veggies.
