We have a little addition in our home this week. We are babysitting! Adam loves helping take care of "Baby Mia." He enjoys holding her and making her giggle. When she starts to fuss, he is quick to run to her side and ask, "What's wrong, sweetheart?" Adam is a bit frustrated that Mia won't play cars with him though. He doesn't understand why she prefers sucking on them to driving them around the room. In addition to being Mommy's helper, Adam has also made it very clear to Kim, that he is still her baby. He frequently requests that Kim "Hold baby Adam" and he insists on drinking out of a sippy cup instead of his "big boy" cups. When the day comes to an end, however, Adam is very reluctant to let Mia leave. He is reassured when we tell him Mia will come back tomorrow to play.

He's going to make an awesome big brother someday. How long are you baby-sitting? I've been doing a lot of that lately too.
