Trick-Or-Treat Please!

Adam doesn't really enjoy dressing up. Even getting him to wear a hat can be difficult. When we talked about going trick-or-treating, Adam was not very excited. He liked the idea about getting candy, but he did not want to dress up. After talking about many costume possiblities, he agreed he would be a cement truck. Kim took on the task of the costume. With the use of a large box, a Cheerios box, a granola bar box, a paper towel roll, a Juicy Juice bottle, contact paper, construction paper, and lots of tape, Kim created the perfect costume for Adam.

After going to a couple houses, Adam became a trick-or-treat expert. He always remembered to say "please" and "thank you." And due to the fact that he is the only little kid in our housing complex, our neighbors loaded him up with goodies. He received everything from king size candy bars to homemade cookies. He was even given a Hotwheels car. After trick-or-treating around our neighborhood, we enjoyed a dinner with some of our friends. After dinner, Adam went trick-or-treating again with his two friends. Needless to say, it was a very successful evening!
